Boxing Day Walk

The walk was around the Stickle Pikes, down to near Broughton Mills and then back up north past Raven’s Crag in the Duddon valley on a very windy but sunny day. Several highlights were the visit to slate mines near Kiln Bank and when Pete Hall’s dog “Hundred Mile an Hour” dog ran off.

Afterwards we all went to the Prince of Wales in nearby Foxfield to sample food and liquid refreshment. Walk Leader: Sandra Wilkinson. Click on each Pic for larger view
