Photographic Competition 2014

This annual event took place on Saturday 11th. January 2014 at Bullpot Farm. As well as the usual competition categories members brought along their favorite shots for either display. An enjoyable night was had by all. The committee had invited Mark Shinwell and Andy Pringle to judge this years entries. Mark was not able to get out of the cave in time so Tim Eastwood and Steve Gray judged the underground categories. The results are below along with the best pictures as and when people email them to me.

As well as the competition Andy Chapman did two presentations on caving in Krubera, Georgia about his trip in the world’s deepest cave and Huautla, Mexico, the deepest cave in the Western Hemisphere. Andy Hall presented a review of Red Rose activities from 2013 and Ray Duffy showed his audio-visual presentation above and below ground on Casterton Fell.
