NEW CAVES TO FIND?

Andrew Walsh thought that the intrepid diggers in the Club would like to share some of his thoughts on possible new finds - when they have finished their present endeavors! .....

There is an open hole on Ingleborough, a recent collapsed rift SD 721 734  would lead to the important  lost cave of Lower Hardgill Pot - see: Northern Cave Diving Index (latest one).

Lower down in the valley over the wall (Crina bottom) is the old entrance to Lower Hardgill  Pot which Andy Hine of Natural England got permission to reopen  but needs ? a metal detector to find it.  EPC lost the location - only 0.5 m of cover. It is a nice cave, big potential,  sumps to Skirwith + Newby Moss Area.

Parallel Universe Gour Inlet Notts 2. Go over the rifts (cows tails needed) and up the rope by the window is 100m of passage un-surveyed to O Bother Chamber (also passages going off) and various digs,  need time + people, -  the pensioners who found it had other projects (that went big time)

Also READ RRCPC Journal carefully ( + NPC  ONE AND THE NEW 3 COUNTIES GUIDE )

                                                         GOOD LUCK!
