DISAPPOINTMENT
POT. (21st. June ‘64. )
PARTY:— Jim Newton, Ian, Bill, Melvyn,
Sandra, Ray, Los, Clive, Mike and Piano.
It was only after being
fooled into believing that this was to be a joy trip down Bar
Pot that I had come along. Hastily I unpacked ray exposure suit and
together with a rucksac full of other gear
I suitably attired myself for this long and arduous trip. Upon entering the
hole I noticed that Jim had no suit on, a good sign of a wet hole.,
we soon reached the duck and to my satisfaction those brave people
without suits were now banging their leaders head on the passage
wall. The bottom was then soon reached and we were already
coming out before the slower people had reached the bottom.
